I have always been a creative person and I’m painting with my heart and soul, which are both vibrant.
My work is based on dreams and true stories.
I dream quite vividly and I love turning these dreams into fairytales. This magical world is created by my playful personality.
You, as the viewer, will be submerged into a world of bright colours.
I want to make people aware of the vulnerability of our planet. My first solo-art-expo ‘Treasured heart’ is inspired by mother nature and is focused on animal wildlife.
I love painting with acrylics because it opens a lot of possibilities.
I am specialised in realistic portraits of humans, animals and fantasy creatures.
My love for art is everything to me because it is my passion.
It gives me hope that I can make this planet Earth brighter with my colourful art.

My name is Iris and I’m a Visual storyteller and Graphic designer.
I live in Flanders – Belgium on the countryside nearby a forest with my 4 cats.
I started my business ‘IrisV-C Art’ in April 2022 with my first solo-expo ‘Treasured heart’.
My work includes also content for social media, maintenance of my website and copywriting.
You have probably seen my art on Instagram where I share my journey as an artist.
One of the most rewarding jobs are creating ‘personalised paintings’ for my clients.
Currently I’m preparing my second solo-expo ‘Fragile beauty’ for 2025 at the Allierse Chapel.
At the moment I give art workshops at Mariën-Bouwens, where I have my second workshop ‘Texture’ in January 2025.

A star shines bright in the sky.
The star reminds me of Baloe. The cat I had for 17 years.
He passed away.
Would I ever have such a great furry friend again?..
One day a female stray cat visited our garden.
I brought her some food and held her company. She visited my garden daily. A month later she was pregnant. The mother cat, I named her "Dotty", gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens. One of them was as white as snow and reminded me of Baloe.
It was a gift from heaven. I call her Lily and I kept her and Dotty.
